back to school!

whelp. i went back to work last week and the kids came back today! although i'm now relegated to the dark hours for training, no complaints here. i really love my job.

now that my energy is pulled in many directions i'm just trying to go back to basics and focus on getting it done in all areas of life. 6 weeks till Kona. i always remember to eat, sleep, work, train...but there is one thing i need a reminder for. must remember to drink water. thing is (confession time) that i reeeeeaaally don't like water. i find plain water tolerable if i'm more than 90 minutes into a ride or run and need something wet. otherwise, just not a fan. i like fizzy water, i like diet soda, i like vitamin water zero, i like coffee & tea. so anyway, no need to tell me how good fresh clear water is for me. i know. and i'm working on it! anyone else not a water fan?

I dont like water either. I will run as far as I can before having to drink water. I think water is so boring. Its last on my list so I get it. I see you often riding your bike in town and I root for you. I live in encinitas too.I know you will kick ass in kona . Congrats on going back to school.

I love water! Sometimes if I get sick of drinking it, I will cut some fresh juice with it or slice some cucumber and orange and add that to my water. ;) Or a cinnamon stick in a pitcher for a couple of hours. I feel like I'm at a spa with that!

THANK YOU! Everyone makes me feel weird for hating to drink water. I love it when I am dying of thirst after a run, but otherwise I prefer vitamin water zero. Yum.

I actually love water (and love your water bottle, inspiration anywhere you can get it!), but might I recommend water with chia seeds and fresh squeezed lemon juice? I haven't tried it yet, but apparently it's really tasty and full of electrolytes.

I am a snob of very few things... water is one of them! I actually really enjoy water - good water, ie. not tap water. However, I don't do "designer" waters like $4 Fiji's. Thats dumb. A good water for me is like a good beer (albeit, to quench different thirsts!)

You are funny.....I am with you. Flavored is best. I force myself to guzzle a glass of plain water before I go for something else.

I like regular water but admitingly haven't been drinking enough lately, I'm actually giving up all things "diet" for a month. I can VERY easily drink 5 2ltr bottles of diet pop in a 2 week span and I keep reading how that "S&*T" is bad for you, so I thought I would try a month with no artifical sugars. A month is doable - take it day by day Chica - at least till KONA. YOU CAN DO IT! Love the door sign!

I hate drinking water too! I'm almost never thirsty throughout the day. Only if I'm working out, then I can do water but mostly G2 Gatorade. My dad is the same way so maybe it's genetic. I put a bottle of water on my desk every day and it just sits there! I'm convinced some people need to drink more water than others. My one friend overdoses on it and pees like 20 times a day and at least 4 times at night! Crazy!!!
